🔥 THE CHAIR THAT LIED
At our accommodation in Vendas Novas, this hanging chair looked like the perfect place to settle in, sway gently and do absolutely nothing for a while.
There was just one small problem...
We were in the middle of a heat wave. 🥵
So there it hung—soft, peaceful and completely unused—quietly inviting us to sit while the weather whispered, “Go on…I dare you.” 😂
Some holiday furniture is made for relaxing. This one became a decorative reminder of the comfort we could have enjoyed under less volcanic circumstances.

Haha, exactly! "Smart holiday planning" is definitely the nicer term for survival mode! 😂Spot on! Air conditioning won that battle without a fight. Sitting in that chair would have turned us into human fondue. It ended up being a very pretty prop instead! 📸🔥

😂😂 Oh, absolutely! That chair was not furniture — it was a TRAP. 🥵🔥 Sitting there all innocent and inviting while the heat plotted my downfall. 😭🤣
And that broken heart! 💔🤪 Very appropriate, because the heat nearly claimed me as its next victim. I chose survival… from the safety of indoors! 😂
