The Mission (1986): Life in the Wild with Indigenous People + God

this movie easily came to mind. It's a story of a man back in the 18th century who killed someone and then had a change of heart eventually. This is also kind of a historical depiction of the time of conquests of indigenous people in South America. And yes there are priests involved too.

Would have liked to watch this on the big screen just for the amazing nature views. Definitely lots of amazing shots while they were all in the forest and mountains. As for the story, well, I first watched this in 2023. I didn't appreciate it as much as For Greater Glory . Anyway here's the trailer so you'll know a bit more abt the film. Overall I think I rated it at 6.5 out of 10 stars when I watched it.
