🎬 My Movie Pick: Se7en (1995)
For this month’s #HumpdayAndChill , themed around “Movies with Numbers in the Title,” I’m going with one of the most hauntingly brilliant thrillers ever made: Se7en .
Directed by David Fincher, Se7en follows two detectives – the seasoned Somerset (Morgan Freeman) and the hot-headed rookie Mills (Brad Pitt) – as they investigate a series of gruesome murders inspired by the seven deadly sins. Each crime scene is more disturbing than the last, drawing the viewer deeper into the twisted psyche of the unknown killer.
What makes Se7en unforgettable is its grim, atmospheric tone, tight storytelling, and a chilling performance by Kevin Spacey as the mysterious John Doe. The tension builds relentlessly, leading to that infamous ending that still shocks first-time viewers decades later.
