Before i start talking about a memorable #dream , i liked that you mentionned the brain process adn i want to add a neuro-physiologic fact.
The brain rewire itself, discharge neurons and all synaptic charges, except for vital organs. and try to remap its connections. as results , we feel good after sleeping and we have dreams (short as 20 sec i guess) .
One of the unforgettable dreams was Mary and Jesus ( Peace upon them), i mentioned it before

trying to find someone who can really come with a logical interpretation...
was walking out of the house , reached a street behind our block , i found a lot of people standing , filling the whole street for long distance. they were kneeling to the same direction.π€·ββοΈ
found my way on the left side , reached an old grocery (their owners are so beautiful, all the family) ... that waas the end of those people mass , the frontline was a straight line all on their knees.π§
I met their daughter Nadia there π₯°...she was smiling and closing the door and she brought me inside in a hurry like she had something to offer.. we had a funny talk then she gave me a bicycle to reach my destination faster.
when i came out, there was the convoy. Mary , Jesus and maybe 20 between men and women with them. they were coming from north west .
i instantly recognized them both and was soooo happy .... said " as'salamou alaykom" , she smiled (beautiful soft smile , peace upon her π₯°) and all the crowd behind her smiled at same time and they were clean and smell great but they look sad and tired as they were walking long distance traveling.
wasn't expecting she respond ... but she did with her smile and pointed with an open left hand to Issa ,,, like she is presenting him to me and allowing me to play with his cheeks π€£ and i did ππ
a man was holding him in his arms, carrying gently (similar to those in postπ ) ... he didn't talk to me, but he lowered his arms so i can kiss Issa (peace upon him) π.
was expecting to have a small talk with Issa but he didn't speak with me , he smiled with his cute pinky soft beautiful babe face π and touched my beard and my face gently π₯Ή
Meanwhile the crowd behind me stood up, all of them with one voice calling " Allahou Akbar" .
and i woke up before i speak with him, i had a lot to discuss with him πππ
By the way, not a single picture or illustration or sculpture of Mariam ( Mary) is even close to her real face. NONE (unless there's some i didn't find yet).

we dream few times , every session is a flash of few sec as you said , so in total we can get ~25 sec

however , in general, seeing a prophet or messenger in dream, make of it a vision ( needs few fulfilled conditions though) ..

It might be a call to spiritual leadership? Find what feels right for you and what aligns with your values and aspirations.

thought about that , after couple weeks , i noticed that i was reminding and correcting people's religious ideas (even the smallest ones) and even practices with ease , and don't have noticeable religious /spiritual knowledge (very strange even for me).
i wouldn't go in a path of being imam . nope bcze it implies political control and i hate that.
there's more , i would say "signs" of weird things , i prefer to not discuss or mention ...
