1️⃣ Can AI deliver better justice than humans? Personally I don't think AI can deliver better justice as it lacks feelings and empathy especially with cases wherein you need to balance justice and the accompanying penalty of the crimes committed. It only follows what is written or the standard or fundamental laws.
2️⃣ If AI becomes a judge, can it make completely fair decisions? I don't think so, I believe it can give only fair decision to a typical or certain type of crimes but not all crimes are the same, some are complicated which involves understanding the human emotion why the crime was done.
3️⃣ Create a simple case (crime or dispute) and explain what decision AI would give A crime of passion or framed-up case is something that is kind of complicated for which AI could not provide a fair decision that is due as it will only rely with the sop's of crime vs. punishment and not fully understand human emotion, context and nuance. While AI is good and consistent in reviewing related evidences, it will neglect the human nature or intent why the crime is committed which is important in determining guilt or innocence of these such cases mentioned.
Human judge is still the best for resolving cases with human nature bearing but AI judge is something that could not get paid or corruptted for inverting justice...
