ππ A video from my nephew just brought back a memory Iβll never forget!
I came across a video of my nephews having an absolute blast diving from Montagne Zako , which rises about 600 metres above sea level . β°οΈπ The video isnβt of the best quality because it was recorded about 10 years ago.
Watching them having so much fun reminded me that, once upon a time, when I was much younger and apparently had fewer survival instincts , I did it too! π
Only once.
Yes, ONE time was enough! π€£
I decided to dive head first into the sea, and let me tell you, from that height, once you hit the water, you go quite deep! πβ¬οΈ
At one point, I had a tiny moment of panic because I honestly felt like I wasn't going to make it back to the surface! And mostly because itβs a dangerous place to dive from, which made the whole experience even more terrifying! ππ π³π
The best way I can describe it is that the water felt like a giant hand on my head, saying: βOh no, youβre not leaving yet!β βππ€£
Meanwhile, I was probably thinking: βExcuse me, sir, I would very much like to return to the surface now!β πππ
Thankfully, I made it back up, obviously! π But from that day on, I made myself a very important promise: Never again! π€£π ββοΈπ
So, my brave nephews, you can keep diving and having all the fun, as for me, Iβll happily watch the videos from a safe distance with both feet firmly on dry land! πποΈ

Thank you, ma chΓ©rie! π₯°π I definitely proved to myself that once was enough! ππ I wasnβt scared at all back then, but that experience definitely made me realize how dangerous it was. ππ
But I still love diving in the ocean, not from that height anymore. π€£π€£

Discovering the underwater world is an incredible experienceβ¦ Iβve never truly done it, not in the real sense of the word. Only near the rocky coastline in our sea. I imagine it must be something truly spectacular.π€©ππ
