😂🌊 A video from my nephew just brought back a memory I’ll never forget!
I came across a video of my nephews having an absolute blast diving from Montagne Zako , which rises about 600 metres above sea level . ⛰️🌊 The video isn’t of the best quality because it was recorded about 10 years ago.
Watching them having so much fun reminded me that, once upon a time, when I was much younger and apparently had fewer survival instincts , I did it too! 😂
Only once.
Yes, ONE time was enough! 🤣
I decided to dive head first into the sea, and let me tell you, from that height, once you hit the water, you go quite deep! 🌊⬇️
At one point, I had a tiny moment of panic because I honestly felt like I wasn't going to make it back to the surface! And mostly because it’s a dangerous place to dive from, which made the whole experience even more terrifying! 🌊😅😳😂
The best way I can describe it is that the water felt like a giant hand on my head, saying: “Oh no, you’re not leaving yet!” ✋🌊🤣
Meanwhile, I was probably thinking: “Excuse me, sir, I would very much like to return to the surface now!” 😂😂😂
Thankfully, I made it back up, obviously! 😅 But from that day on, I made myself a very important promise: Never again! 🤣🙅♀️🌊
So, my brave nephews, you can keep diving and having all the fun, as for me, I’ll happily watch the videos from a safe distance with both feet firmly on dry land! 😂🏖️

We can forgive but forgetting is not justice at all! Sabi ng pari sa homily nung Sunday (paraphrased): Forgiveness does not always mean conciliation, forgiveness means we release it (whatever happened/experienced) but it still requires that justice prevails. #neveragain
Parang yung mga kasalanan natin sa Diyos, yes mapapatawad sa pagkukumpisal (kahit idiretso mo pa kay God) pero hindi doon natatapos 'yon. Kailangan natin pagbayaran mga kasalanan na nagawa natin. Kung hindi natin gagawin dito habang buhay tayo, doon sa purgatoryo tayo maghihirap para mabayaran ito. That's justice. Kung hindi sila humingi ng tawad sa Diyos man lang e ibang usapan na 'yon. Lord have mercy.
