1. When someone wrongs you deeply ( like betrayal, lying, or cheating ), do you feel drawn to FORGIVE ( actively release it ) or FORGET ( let it fade )? What’s your gut reaction? When someone wrongs to me, i try to forget it first not forgive because forgetting that act help me to forgive too like if i can't forget then i can't forgive. For me it's better to forget to move on.
2. Think of a time someone hurt you. Did you end up forgiving them OR forgetting it? What happened? Did it heal you? Mostly in friendship and in relationships they told a lie about me which hurt me like they someone release my secret but i tried to forget the moment when I feel embarrassed and shamed it helps me feel calm and heal as fading such memories are good for me.
3. What’s ONE thing you believe you SHOULD forgive but actually can’t forget? Explain. When my own friend tell a lie a about me to someone i think it could be forgiven because maybe she's in the situation but yeah this can't forget that she tell a lie about me.
4. What’s ONE thing you SHOULD forget but can’t forgive? Explain. If anyone betray me in love or in friendship, it can be forgetting but i can't forgive her to do so because i was loyal to them and what did they to me.....
1 When someone deeply wrongs me (like betrayal, lying, or cheating), my first reaction is usually toward forgiveness, but with time I realize whether I can truly let it go or not. If the feeling still stays heavy, I slowly lean more toward forgetting and moving on rather than holding on to it. 2 Once, someone hurt me a lot. At first I was very upset, but over time I stopped thinking about it so much and moved forward. I didn’t fully forgive immediately, but gradually my heart became lighter and I felt peace. 3 One thing I feel I should forgive but can’t forget is lying and betrayal, because it keeps coming back to my mind and breaks my trust again and again. 4 One thing I feel I should forget but can’t forgive is certain hurtful words or past incidents, because even if I try, I can’t completely remove them from my memory.
1. When someone wrongs me deeply, my gut reaction is to FORGET. I don't mean pretending it never happened, but rather choosing not to let the hurt control my thoughts forever. I prefer to move forward and focus on what lies ahead instead of carrying the weight of the past.
2. A few years ago, someone I trusted lied to me. At first, I felt disappointed and hurt. Over time, I stopped revisiting the situation and let it fade into the background of my life. I didn't necessarily forgive what happened, but I moved on, and that helped me heal and find peace.
3. One thing I believe I should forgive but can't forget is a betrayal from someone I considered a close friend. The pain has lessened, and I no longer hold anger toward them, but the experience remains a lesson that I will always remember.
4. One thing I should forget but can't forgive is being intentionally blamed for something I didn't do. I know holding onto it doesn't benefit me, yet the unfairness of the situation still makes forgiveness difficult. I'm working on letting it go little by little.
