Online, switching services can still mean starting over. You might be able to download some of your data, but your history, settings, connections or identity can remain tied to the service you’re leaving.

SourceLess is a complex project, and there’s a lot to understand about the different parts that make it work. Some of those parts are highly technical, but we still like to share them from time to time and explain, in plain language, what they do and why they’re there.

One of those parts is 𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠, the programming language being developed specifically for the SourceLess blockchain.

When developers write software, the language they use already sets some of the rules like how data is handled, what kinds of mistakes can be caught early, and which capabilities are available from the start.

ARES Lang includes smart-contract support, strong typing and memory safety, zero-knowledge tools, post-quantum cryptographic features and integration with 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐂𝐲𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫, SourceLess’s three-way encryption system.

GodCypher also incorporates earthquake entropy, using real seismic data as an input for cryptographic randomness.

For developers, this means more of the tools SourceLess needs are already available in the language instead of being added separately later.
