Motherβs Day has just been celebrated, it comes with flowers, hugs, and sweet βI love you, Momβ postsβbut behind the cards and brunches, motherhood often carries a price tag no one really talks about. Things like lost time, halted careers, unpaid work, emotional labor, and quiet sacrifices are easy to ignore, even though they add up fast.
This activity is about seeing those hidden costs of motherhood in a real, honest way, not to blame anyone, but to listen, share, and think about what could actually make things easier for moms. No judgment, no guiltβjust your thoughts, your empathy, and your ideas for change.
TASK: COPY and ANSWER
1. The Cost: Name one specific sacrifice women make because of motherhood that most people overlook
2. Who Pays: Who suffers most from this sacrificeβmothers themselves, their children, their partners, or society as a whole? Explain.
3. Your Fix: If you could demand one concrete change from society, partners, or workplaces to reduce this specific cost, what would it be? Explain.

3. ALL deductions from rule-breakers will be split evenly among participants who followed every rule.
In cases where the deductions are significantly larger and the participants who followed the rules do not exceed half of the capped entries, a portion of the deduction will be allocated to standout entries. Meanwhile, those who complied with the rules will also receive their share.

As we conclude the #MothersPriceTag activity, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your openness and vulnerability in sharing your thoughts. I capped entries at 10, but I received only 8 submissions. Upon reviewing these entries, I found that only 2 fully adhered to all the rules and the rest incurred deductions for minor/major mistakes.

I had a hard time drawing and writing in all three of your activities because I accidentally cut my finger with a knife and the wound grew.
