There are oh so many great villains, it is indeed very hard to choose. A few, of course, stick out...
I almost went with Pennywise the Clown, who I find creepy as hell, I thought of Brick Top whose sadism is through the roof, but in the end I settled on Pinhead .
Hellraiser, a horror franchise which started back in 1987, created by Clive Barker, introduces us to the chilling and iconic character known as Pinhead. With his haunting appearance – the long leather robe and a pattern of nails hammered in his skull, Pinhead serves as the leader of the Cenobites , an order of former humans who have become monsters and now harvest human souls to torture in their sadistic experiments. His calm and menacing demeanour, coupled with his ability to manipulate the boundaries between pleasure and torment, defines him as one of the most terrifying and long-lasting villains in the horror movie history. At least, in my opinion!
Pinhead was once a British soldier, Captain Elliott Spencer, who became disillusioned with life and humanity during his experiences during World War I, leading him to summon the Cenobites and join their ranks.
I really like the first movie in the series, because it introduces us to the whole Cenobite universe. I am yet to watch the last two in the series.

Don John is often seen simply as the "baddie’" in Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" – the one who causes all the problems through his lies and deception.
However, although he says little, and disappears part way through Act 4 Scene 1, his character offers some important insights into the key theme of appearance and reality, or truth and lies, that runs through the play.
The 1993 romantic comedy film Much Ado About Nothing is based on William Shakespeare's play of the same name. Kenneth Branagh, who adapted the play for the screen and directed it, also stars in the film which features Emma Thompson, Robert Sean Leonard, Denzel Washington, Michael Keaton, Keanu Reeves and Kate Beckinsale in her film debut.
The film was released on May 7, 1993, reaching 200 U.S. screens at its widest release. It grossed $43 million worldwide which, despite failing to reach the mark set by Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet, made it one of the most financially successful Shakespeare films. It was also entered into the 1993 Cannes Film Festival.

The Joker is a character portrayed by Heath Ledger and the main antagonist in Christopher Nolan's 2008 superhero film The Dark Knight. Based on the DC Comics supervillain of the same name, he is depicted as a psychopathic criminal mastermind with a warped, sadistic sense of humor who defines himself by his conflict with the vigilante Batman.
