My pick this week is RESERVOIR DOGS (1992) – a neo-noir gangster movie that does things... a bit differently. Directed by Quentin Tarantino, it’s all about a group of guys planning a big heist that goes badly wrong. The story jumps around in time, showing us the planning, the robbery, and what happens afterward.
The characters all have code names based on colours, and they each have their own stories and personalities. The cast is truly well-selected, with actors such as Harvey Keitel (Mr White) and Michael Madsen (Mr Blonde) playing tough guys with loads of attitude.
If you are squeamish, be warned: the movie doesn't hold back on violence, with blood spurting freely! It’s not just about the gore and blood spilling though, it’s about trust and betrayal among criminals.
Reservoir Dogs is sometimes a bit of a puzzle with its mixed-up timeline, and it gives you a peek into the world of gangsters and how they deal with tricky situations. If you’re into mafia movies that are a bit different from the usual, this one’s worth checking out.

Ahaha, I was in italy when that was playing on tv.. I found it boring at the time...it's kind of like a documentary for an italian lol....as series go my second choice for this contest was Peaky Blinders...brilliant... I can say I truly embraced the British gangster style..after 30yrs in UK 😀
