Throwback April 2013 💙 Visiting my daughter and her fiancé in London… a moment suspended above the city on the London Eye. A future still unwritten… Not knowing that one day, two beautiful little girls Calleigh and Ciena would make that dream complete.
Time has moved on, seasons have changed (and yes… the color of my hair too 😉), but memories like this stay beautifully the same.❤️
Good morning, Tangled Fam — happy Sunday! May your coffee be strong, your heart be steady, and your steps today feel just a little lighter. ✨💜 Before the days of cell phones, we had Top Club, Q’s, The Doors, Caesars Palace… and a love story born on wobbly knees. 💃🕺 Every time this song plays, it sweeps me straight back to when Sandi (yes — my old South African nickname!) fell hopelessly, head-over-heels for the coolest guy on the block… my Rui. No yellow T-Bird needed — he was already my Danny Zuko. I was the country girl in the big city; he was the popular guy everyone knew. We met at a friend’s apartment where I was trying not to slide right off the sofa (my knees had left the chat 🤪)… while he, apparently, was already planning our wedding. I tried to act unfazed. I ignored him one night, made him work for it at Top Club... but he was persistent! He kept showing up — weekend after weekend — driving back into the city just to chase me. And eventually… well, even a stubborn girl can only resist so much charm. 😉 I finally gave in to the enchantment — and I’ve never looked back. Rui… 35 years later, You Are The One That I Want. ❤️
Thank you all so much for taking part in this week's #earn activity #BackInTheDay I've truly enjoyed reading your stories, full of heart, humor and honesty. Please know that I've read your posts and many of your memories really hit home. There were quite a few moments I could relate to as well.💛 A big thank you as well to those who shared school photos- a real treat to see snapshots from the past! It's amazing how the experiences we went through during our school days continue to shape us and in many ways help guide us as we raise and support our own children today. You've all made this activity so nostalgic and meaningful. Thank you for sharing so openly❤️
