My pick of the month is the first thing that popped in my head – the TV series TOUR OF DUTY , which ran for three seasons, from 1987 to 1990.
For me, it stands out not only for its gripping portrayal of the Vietnam War, but also for its exceptional music selection. I liked military movies as a young boy: the action, drama and pure adrenalin ... For this one, I picked The Monuments Men. A less known but important aspect of WW2 is presented by the adventure and struggles of characters.
Well, my favourite military movie is "Steiner"
... it shows a quite hard and drama like war experience but that is the charme of the movie.
It is hard, the characters are real (no blind heroes) and the action is quite good! Despite of the age of the movie it is still very gripping

The story about elite American soldiers that were sent to Somalia using Black Hawk helicopters in order to capture two renegade warlords and give assistance to the starving population. well, I am not a military/war movie fan in general but I appreciate the ones with a comedic touch... so my choice is:
Tropic Thunder, a tale of a bunch of really well cast movie actors who end up in a real life spicy situation and have to find a way out of it with hilarious consequences.. the performances make the movie one of my favourite, the story is almost irrelevant but it's overall very entertaining. I watch movies rarely but if found good stuff then sure I go through.
My favorite army movie which I watched couple of years back is 12 Strong. This movie comes on screen in 2018 from Jerry bruekheimer and produced by Black hawk.
This movie base on a military operation in Afghanistan against Taliban. In battlefront some time you loose and some time you hit the enemy. Same a dark day was for American forces in Afghanistan to whom get back they launch the military operation.
This movie is not only about war , it is also show the love of soldiers to their family and kids as well . I love it's thrilling scenes , mountain clash and human feeling of love even in battlefield.

Platoon is a 1986 war film by director Oliver Stone that shows the excesses of the Vietnam War and its effect on infantry soldiers. The film won four Oscars and was nominated for four more.
My mom took me to see this when I was 15 yrs old. Scarred for life from the horrors of war. Great movie though.👍
my personal favorite "FURY (2014)" but I never watched it again because it's full of darkness and sacrifices but I was astonished when I read the story that it was inspired by WW2 tank crews. I love how the story goes on and making decisions that are not regretful, These five men demonstrated exceptional courage as they marched forward, side by side, confronting strong enemies, never loses hope and I love how they showed true brotherhood during the chaos of war.

Die to his love for his dad he sacrificed his own will to be a military person. This movie is an eye opener for everyone that no matter what is your gender preference you may still serve in your country as long as your pursuit is genuine. Even a gay person can be the strongest soldier ever alive.
