So, what film have I chosen for this month? I’ve gone with a golden oldie from 1994, starring none other than the Muscles from Brussels himself 🇧🇪... you guessed it— STREET FIGHTER !! When I watched this the first time, I had absolutely no idea what Street Fighter was, as I had never (and still haven’t) played the game by Capcom. Maybe this isn’t a great movie, but I found it quite entertaining and Raúl Juliá did an outstanding job portraying General M. Bison. Unfortunately, this was his last movie and it was released posthumously. The staff of Universal Pictures paid homage to him by dedicating Street Fighter to his memory, adding the phrase "For Raúl. Vaya con Dios." in the film's ending credits.
Shadaloo's malevolent leader, General Bison, seizes a bus carrying relief workers and detains them with the intention of extorting a ransom. In response, an international coalition led by Colonel Guile, portrayed by Jean-Claude Van Damme, launches an assault on Shadaloo to liberate the hostages. During the mission, Guile enlists the help of Chun-Li, a journalist and skilled martial artist whose father fell victim to Bison's actions in the past, as well as two cunning fraudsters and a sumo wrestler.

In the year 2045, many of the world's population centers have become slum-like cities. To escape their despair, people move around in the virtual metaverse world of OASIS, a multiplayer VR game on an online platform. In this virtual world, invented and programmed by game designer James Donovan Halliday, they can escape the gloom of everyday life and do and experience almost anything here, because OASIS is a world in which the boundaries of reality are only those of one's own imagination. If you want, you can climb Mount Everest with Batman, ski on the pyramids in Egypt or change your gender. You can earn coins there and use them to buy clothes, weapons or artifacts or, with a lot of skill, obtain them in other ways that Halliday has hidden in this world. However, you can also lose everything in the OASIS if your avatar dies on screen. After Halliday passed away in 2040, a great search began as part of his legacy. The programmer has hidden an Easter egg in OASIS: In his video will, Halliday decreed that the finder of the Easter Egg should not only inherit his fortune of shares worth half a trillion US dollars, but also full control of OASIS. To obtain the egg, players must find three keys that Halliday has hidden in various locations in the OASIS, in which he appears as his avatar Anorak, and which each open a magic gate. The first key is given to the player who manages to cross the finish line in a particular race. No player has managed to do this in the five years since Halliday's death.

The acting, storyline and characters were most excellently rendered and delivered. I wish they'd make a series, as a sequel is rather unlikely after all these years. :(

I have chosen Castlevania. It is an American adult animated dark fantasy action television series created and written by Warren Ellis for Netflix. The art style is heavily influenced by Japanese animation and Ayami Kojima's artwork. The Genre is an action-adventure, action-horror, dark fantasy and drama. It has four seasons and thirty-two episodes.

The Super Mario Bros movie is an animated adventure comedy movie based on Nintendo’s Mario video game. Mario a plumber from Brooklyn teams up with Princess Peach and his brother Luigi to stop the villainous Bowser from conquering the Mushroom Kingdom. This film is filled with action, humor and nods to the classic video game series.
This is an excellent choice! I would have presented this one if you didn't already do so. 👏
This live action feature is inspired by the most successful interactive video-game character in history -- Lara Croft. Beautiful and brainy, Lara (Angelina Jolie) is the heroine of Eidos Interactive's phenomenally successful "Tomb Raider" game series. It is one woman's fearless quest criss-crossing the globe, in an amazing attempt to save the world
I played the first PC version of this game for a long time... it was a very interactive new way to play games back then... I more recently purchased a PS new version and watched my wife play it till the end... still quite amazing.
My favorite one "Sonic the Hedgehog" I was obsessed of the first game that I played called "Sonic Dash" I played it for like a months then when I knew about the movie adaptation, I didn't hesitate to watch it. The CGI didn't disapppoint me, it was so real 💯
I am not 100% sure why they cast Kevin Hart as Roland. I imagined him... taller 😸 And, as you rightly say, Tannis is a bit too old... Still wanna see it though!
I liked it and agreed Kevin was so wrong if you see the actual special ops character, Kevin would have been a better Claptrap voice. Jack Black did not bring his 'A' game but I did get it, to be honest it felt like they cut a lot out of the movie. But definitely watch it, if you did not know the game it was watchable, it just let a lot of sides down more than anything.
